The music of Eugene Pao’s new jazz album “Comfort Zone”, including both original works and jazz classics, are all duet pieces played with other jazz musicians. What are the musical and creative considerations? What are the interesting and memorable moments during the recording process?

In this master class, Eugene Pao will be joined by Clarence Chang, the Artistic Director of “Jazz in the Neighbourhood” and the album producer, and Kent Poon, renowned recording and mastering engineer, to share the album’s concept and making-of with jazz lovers. Some of the pieces in the album may be selected for music appreciation and demonstration.
