Recruitment : “Jazz In The Neighbourhood” Arts Administrator Trainee (One-year Contract)

[Leisure and Cultural Services Department – Arts Administration Trainee Programme]

“Jazz In The Neighbourhood” is a project jointly organised by Jazz World (Hong Kong) Limited and Count-in Music Limited and funded by The Venue Partnership Scheme (2022-2026) of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. As Venue Partners of Tsuen Wan Town Hall, we hope to promote jazz music through a series of performances and educational programmes.

Duties:

  1. Assist in preparing and promoting different types of jazz performances and educational events, including production, outreach and audience building events, managing and updating social media platforms and website
  2. Provide assistance on administration work, account management and other paper work
  3. Assist in writing proposal, project report and compile activity records
  4. May be required to work irregular hours, on Saturdays and public holidays

Salary and Benefits:

  • $16,000 – $17,000 per month. Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • The appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for 1-year, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance
  • Benefits include MPF and annual leave

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor ‘s degree 
  • Preferably 1 year full-time working experience in arts administration
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese 
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience in concert production, music performance and knowledgeable in music, graphic design and video editing
